My sister worked in the family court system for a long time and she said you’d be amazed at the number of men who leave their wives if they get sick. There are also stats to back this up. Men are much more likely to leave a sick spouse than the other way around. It’s a weird phenomenon.

For her it wasn't cheating because it was “already over”, but she never told it to me until she confessed.
She is not independent. She is very dependant, she jumped from a relationship to another and she never knew how to live alone and take care of herself at 22 yo.
Her friends hate me because of the story she told them. But she said ” It's not my fault if they made their own opinion”. I always took care of her, even from the other side of the planet so I don't understand what can make them hate me. I paid for her food when she couldn't, paid for rides to hospital when her family abandoned her and motivated her to study.
