To be fair tipping culture has gotten out of hand, unless its absoletely required to tip, i don't do it anymore.
They want me to tip to pick up my own food now, like what?
I've been to resturaunts where the waitresses or waiters are god awful and i don't tip, tipping is meant to be about how your service was, not how the food was.
No, you should just meet with her one last time and break up with her! Don’t tell her you overheard them, you have a chance to go out on a high note here. Just “Meh, it’s just not working out, I’m not really feeling it”. That leaves her wondering and off kilter, not you.

Well, you can tell him that if he doesn't want intimacy you can go to being flatmates who share a son instead of a couple. He doesn't want you and you can't force him to. He might have someone else already. So why shouldn't you too?
