I did preemptively go to HR, as I left my government badge at her house during this ordeal and needed to notify them why it was missing (I need it to login into my computer). They have been understanding and on my side throughout the process. I did pick up my badge today (she left it outside) so hopefully there will be no reason for me to ever contact her again. She did cut up my badge, which is damaging government property. My company takes that very seriously and what they decide to do is out of my hands.
I need to follow up with an additional lawyer as the one I sought out from my college campus could not advise the situation properly. I will work with the lawyers, thank you.

I guess it's mainly the way I was raised. But yeah, I've had some pretty shitty friends in the past, too. I expect to be let down by everyone. It's something I'm working on, having faith in people etcetc. So whenever things like this happen, maybe it hurts a lil more than it should?
