I imagine the perspective for most men is that she has what they don't need or value, and she lacks what they want or desire. Like, a good salary is great, and go you, but unless a man wants to be your dependent, all that matters is whether you need them to support you or not. Whether you make enough to support yourself or enough to buy a private jet tends to be much less important to most men compared to how well you take care of your health and body.
Then there's the personality and joy. OP said she hates being single. If she hates how her life is going, then it will show. If she has difficulty finding cheer and joy in day to day life, she will be much less attractive to most men. Nobody wants to be with someone who shows no happiness or appreciation for life. I also doubt most men in her target age range are looking for excitement.
This type of behavior is petty, but perhaps there is a reason. Has she stated her preferences regarding flowers before? Perhaps she felt like you don't listen to her, which makes her reaction a little more understandable (albeit still asshole-ish).
