Currently I have a life that is very different from what my parents would approve of. I do believe children would become a challenge if they cannot follow boundaries. No man is worth giving up your citizenship. Russia may have some terrible things happening right now, but who is to say that’s forever.
The people of Russia are just like the people everywhere else. Mostly good. There just happens to be shitty people in control. That’s not a good reason to give up your citizenship.
I can understand him not wanting you to travel there as a Russian citizen right now since things are pretty bad. However, I think you have the final say on what you do. You know your country better than he does.
