Porn addiction does not inherently come with an adultery tag. It does however, come with a drive to consume said media often to one’s detriment and in a way that actively harms one’s relationships and professional life. (Like viewing it at work, being too tired for sex).
It doesn’t seem as though his problem is being too tired from pornography to be intimate with you. His issue is that he doesn’t want to seem to be with you, which is why he’s been repeatedly going out of his way TO have sex (or attempt) with just about everyone BUT you. Cybersex is his “settling” to still be with other people but you, now just with a screen in between.
NOW this doesn’t mean that he isn’t also suffering from a porn addiction.
It’s just that his porn addiction does not explain or excuse his multiple attempts to cheat on you, his continued affairs (via cyber sex) or his blatant disinterest in your intimate relationship.
That is sweet proposal. He is holding your hand when you are at worst. Better not to miss the chance or doubt unless you have a gut feeling. Btw he also knew that if you finish your degree on time, you will get high-paid job. You can share 50/50 responsibility together. It is a future investment for him too. Good luck for your thesis.
It's not about points. There should be a level of equality and participation in any relationship. This isn't about winning or losing, it's about fixing an unequal dynamic
Can you clarify why you say it doesn't sound like OP is spending more time doing chores? Is it because these are the only ones she mentioned specifically?
Even just the different ones they're doing and the time involved in doing them is hugely different. I don't know a single person that's like “I'd rather be doing chores for more than 5 hours a week instead of just over an hour”
