What part of this dude makes you think that a little conversation is somehow going to turn around all this bullshit? What exactly are you hoping to accomplish?
He's not getting better, and he's obviously just fine sponging off you and letting you work two jobs while he works none.
If you're willing to stay with him long enough to let him shape up, you could say that he needs to start doing 90 to 100 percent of the chores tomorrow (because he has the time and he's been slacking off of them) and that he has to get a full-time job by X date. And that he needs to pay you back the money you've fronted him by Y date. But, honestly, that's what parents say to their deadbeat children.
The better option would be to just kick him out.
wow this would make a lot more sense if you guys were raised in an abstinence only town and were both 19. but like come on. 36 and 41 and you don't know that pulling out is not contraception?? wear a condom ffs. you already have a bunch of kids. i understand your boyfriends frustration but you guys are both stupid. think about the kids you already have. focus on providing for them. if you cant afford an iud good luck with a whole other baby. make a decision that isnt just what you want but best for your whole family. youve got to send these kids to college ffs.
Yeah I get that. Trauma is illogical. And there’s something I’ve said many times to family and friends. Those that are both abused and spoiled are the worst messed up. Lots of people who have been straight up abused can rise above it and many people who are spoiled will decide they don’t want to be that way any longer but mix the two and those people always struggle the hardest

Why on earth would she want to just go along with something she knows is leaving her homeless and jobless. Add to that it appears she sees you as the primary issue in the marriage, so would mentally be thinking it should be her choosing to divorce and that she doesn't need to work on herself.
Put them together and you get magical thinking and pretending it never happened.
