However I would like to say while yes you did make feelings known and she reciprocated said feelings you did not solidify your relationship in that moment. To me it sounds like you shared a moment together and started to take it past the friendship phase to something more serious.
I know the situation hurt but again at that point you were not in a relationship, just mutually expressing feelings. I think a relationship could still happen in this case, however you would need to talk with her about what happened and be honest with how you feel. If you want a relationship with her or anyone communicating is the key to that, if this relationship doesn’t work out then you tried and you will eventually move on.
