She's 26. Considering he hasn't proposed yet, setting a date, saving money and planning the wedding she’d be about 28 when she gets married. That’s exactly the age your statistic gives for women to get married. Seems like she's not early at all.
I'm not saying he is or isn't a bad friend. People freak out and make bad decisions due to it. This could be one of those moments. Again, I'm not saying this IS what happened. Just that we don't know and it's not really right to jump to conclusions without all the puzzle pieces.
Ah, so she's vegan xD Lo, but in all seriousness: the way I see it, watching pork is normal. But some people do consider it cheating and those people do have the right to their dealbrakers. If they set up porn as “cheating” in their relationship, that is valid. Notice the “IF THEY SET UP” part.
It needs to be set up! I.e. discussed. Since those people are the ones in the miniority and have an opinion that is “unusual” it's on THEM to inform their partner that pork is cheating to them, and make this boundary clear. It's on them to even just begin the conversation at all, since most people will assume pork is fair game and will not even see the need to talk it out.
So the problem here is your gf: she has a take that is valid, but rather unpopular and unusual, and she failed to inform you of it, which was 100% on her to do.
Also, just bc she has this take doesn't mean you have to agree. But realistically, if you do not, it'll end the relationship. But it is an option.
3 years of abuse. I think she just saw how fucked up it is cause her mother is dying.
