Op I strongly believe he’s neurodivergent. I very much can relate to him. I’m certain my colleagues don’t like me and I can tell when we are around one another they aren’t happy with me being there and are just tolerating me. I have very strong interests and hobbies yet despite this I will always be excluded from work party’s or trips and family get togethers. I’ve never particularly had a group of friends or ever felt included in anything. Apparently neurotypicals can pick up on autistic individuals and will subconsciously exclude them. And to add to this it’s absolutely wonderful that you love him and see him for the wonderful person he truly is
