3. I felt terrible watching my daughter in law give birth to my first grandchild. I absolutely felt her pain and will never watch again. That’s not the question here. I’m wondering why pregnancy and birth is so often referred I to in such negative terms, wrecking her body, destroying her mental health, bedridden etc. is both of considered trauma nowadays?
