I honestly found it soothing. It’s the last thing you can do for that person, and funerals can be a lot better than you imagine. They documented her life, and everyone loved talking about the memories in them, and seeing their own parents and grandparents in the photos and sharing stories. It was really nice. She would have loved it.

weirdly i’m kinda the same way. Most men bore me a lot. I always find myself hanging out with a lot of folks in the lgbtq community. It’s just a totally different interaction type almost.

I certainly wouldn’t expect to meet a partner’s child after 1 month of dating but I would absolutely expect them to tell me they had one from the very start. I’d end it over this. But I also don’t want children/to be a maternal figure for anyone so ??♀️
