I think something small like what you listed would be a nice way to let her know you’re thinking about her for the holidays. I would be careful not to have it be something too big as it might make her feel pressured into commitment or something. Also, if you guys aren’t having sex yet, I would steer clear of anything that can be construed as sexual. Normally presents should be exclusively for the person you’re giving it to, not you giving them a present that’s really a present for yourself (e.g., lingerie).

Yeah this is a man who needs to think about the fact that he sees other people as his servants. I'm in my 40s and unfortunately I see this happen fairly often in men my own age. They just start assuming that basically every woman will do these things almost unconsciously. They have something in their hands they don't want? A woman is less important so she should take it. After all, it's only a few more steps for her to take it to the trash. Or if he needs to demonstrate his authority over another man, that works as well. Last I check, time passes the same way it ever did. By your logic, a serial cheater shouldn't have to disclose he or she cheated on everyone. And by not saying it, is not immoral. The best predictor of the future is the past. To be ignorant of it is to be a fool. If you want to have no standard, then have that.
