I'm going to put it nicely, as mild as I can go… Wendy is in a very bad mental place, and you being in her life in any capacity isn't helping her move on.
She's a delusional fantasist with little grasp on what a genuine relationship entails, and the most concerning part us that she has continously refused to take 'no' for an answer.
Explain to your friends that it's doing noone any favours by having her around you. Tell them that they're welcome to remain friends with her, but you won't be able to be where she is, and they don't have your consent to discuss you with her in any capacity.

Yeah, have to say I agree here. If she’s serious, getting out needs to be on the list. Couples therapy can only take you so far. You’ll need to figure out the root cause, but if she wants to keep him in her life, it’s the sign to get out.
