Sounds like he has a serious problem with proprioception. He is not trying to harm you or be unkind, but if I was repeatedly breaking someone's expensive shit or hurting them, I sure would do everything in my power to stop doing that even if it meant not wildly grabbing at everything or not picking up another person I can't actually carry. Sometimes people think being clumsy is cute or funny, but it's clearly not. What if he broke something expensive past the point it was unusable? Would he pay for it? What if you had needed to go get a tetanus shot or something? Has he ever brought his issues up to a professional?
