to add Our finances are set up this way by choice. I could've had access to the savings and other accounts, but because I have all my husband's login info I didn't ever find it necessary to have access until now. Financially I've almost always been able to trust him so it's never been a controlling thing he suggests or anything like that. It's just simply how our accounts and such worked out after we got married.

NOPE! Tell him you’re not interested in rekindling your relationship and that you don’t want any further gifts or contact. Block him on everything. If he does crazy shit like repetitively showing up to your home or something, get a restraining order- not saying he’ll do anything violent or crazy but it’ll get the point across and keep him away.
If you get back with him, the relationship will turn low effort again. Once he has you back, he’ll stop with the roses and nice gestures and he’ll get complacent. It’s not worth it, don’t do it, find someone who speaks your love language values you 100% of the time.
Oh hell no. There’s no being “done” with talking about this. This needs to be figured out ASAP because, if it were me, there’d be no homophobe living in my house and sharing my bed. I’d suggest making an appointment with a marriage counsellor to figure out if there’s any possibility of a future with him.
