Thanks for sharing your situation. The thing is, I'm out all the time. I play basketball twice a week (if not more when it's warmer), go to the pub with friends etc. etc. normal adult shit. I normally want more space than her. It's not a matter if I leave the house or not, it's that she wanted me to leave at a specific time. And that's just not something I can promise. Let alone on a Sunday afternoon when I want to be in my PJs probably on the couch. I understand that it's more work to have a friend come over to our space when I'm there – this made me think about how much of a nice gesture it could be. I just don't want it to be a habit.
Well. He should see a dentist about the bruxism and get a proper guard. The soft ones people get over the counter actually encourage more grinding.
That said, don’t move in together if he won’t address his issues. Things won’t get better than they are now if he does nothing and/or stops what he’s doing already. As for sleeping arrangements….I don’t know about you but when my partner and I are ready to go to bed, we are doing so to sleep. If we want to have sex, we do it before we are ready to go to sleep. I don’t think sleeping separately would impact our sex life.
You could try putting a body pillow between the two of you to protect you from getting hit but that won’t help the yelling.
I don’t think I’d move in with this guy.
