After she dragged it out of him. It's not like he stormed in there, demanding that she stop. She asked, and he answered. If anything, she's the one trying to force her views on him.
I've been up for a couple of hours just Googling around… I found both their names, places of work, etc… No address yet, but certainly for the cops to act on. Could I report a crime if the victim doesn't want to testify? What are the odds of anything happening at all in that case? Would he be arrested on rape charges, or at least cuffed and brought in for questioning, basically being publically humiliated? It might scare him enough not to do this shit again, I don't know. But if all that's gonna happen is a cop calling my wife asking for her testimony, which she wont give, and then nothing happens, after which she'll know I went behind her back.. It wouldnt be worth breaking her trust.

I definitely think there's a difference to the two situations, but I think she's just trying to express how much it bothers her.
