I know you are. Treat yourself as you would a friend who was going through a difficult breakup. Soothing and consoling, sometimes grieving, never blaming yourself.
One thing I have found useful after a disappointment like this is to make a little ritual. I would take letters, photos, ticket stubs, other mementos, make a small fire out of them (go to a park or do it in your backyard in a grill! don't burn down the building), clean out all our past messages emails and texts. I think of it as cleansing.
Do your friends know your side of the story? your ex might have told them “she broke up with me over text out of nowhere” or something similar. If you haven't told your side to them you should imo. Write everything out with care, then copy paste send it to your friends.
Call his parents, let them know he appears to have suffered a psychotic break and also is threatening self-harm. If they seem to blow you off, call the police directly and say he's been threatening it and you need a wellness check done on him. Then text him and tell him his behavior is disturbing and you don't feel safe anymore around him, that you are not now, never have been and never will be his girlfriend, and he needs to stop lying to himself, and that if he contacts you again you're going to take all of the proof of his harassment and your responses to the police and get a restraining order. Then let your friends and family know so that they don't give him info on you or let him in where you will be. Block him everywhere.
You can't mention that there's some massive secret about yourself that she can't know dude. That would drive anybody nuts.
Don't feed her. Ignore her.
If you have to respond say this in a calm voice ” I don't find what you said funny and I would appreciate it if you didn't talk about me”
Then go back to whatever you want to do.
Engaging with her only makes you look like the bad guy.
