I don't think anyone else has mentioned this, but are you sure he spends all his time at work? You already know he is using you as a maid, cook, and to pay all the bills. Yet he has money and time that may be unaccounted for. Have you considered he may also be cheating as well as a bad husband?
But why does everyone need to know? Is there any way you could confide in your friend and ask her to keep it between you two for now since the break up is recent and feelings might still be intense? If your friend starts backing out of her friendship with him will that effectively move him out of your circle or free up some space to form a new circle of friends?

Thank you for your comment. I’m not gonna lie it’s been so long that I’ve had someone agree with my perspective that I actually sobbed with relief. It’s annoying I can’t see him because it’s 30+ degree weather all week so it means we just don’t see eachother this week unfortunately. I don’t catch public transport but as far as I can remember the train can sometimes be air conditioned but sometimes it isn’t.
I offered to drive and pick him up (it’s a 30-40 minute drive to his) but he said nah. Probably because his parents don’t know about me yet and he doesn’t know how to tell them. (I don’t want to get into this issue as then I’ll be here all week haha).
I love him because we genuinely have so much in common both hobbies wise, work wise, tv shows, movies, music taste etc. we were friends first and we originally bonded over the fact that we enjoy literally all of the same things and because we had wicked chemistry/banter. He is also ridiculously funny and charming and I can’t help but fall head over heels for a charming and funny guy. He used to be very loving and gentleman like (opening my car door for me etc) but he’s stopped that due to I guess a rise in tension in arguments etc. I also find him very attractive obviously!
You’re very lucky he broke up with you. Block him from everything, forget he exists, and stay single until you get enough self respect that you don’t need controlling and manipulating partners.
