You dated a girl for 2 months and you are making claims that she is your “ex girlfriend is playing mind games with me.” No dude, it's you. YOU are playing mind games with yourself. 2 months is not a very long time in a relationship. Ignore her even if she comes to your work and move on!

That's heartbreaking and I'm so sorry. But if she'd leave you at such a low point for such a self serving reason, that's not real love she was giving you. She was using you to build her fairy tale only as she wanted it.
No, they should have a serious conversation about what happened, what led to it, how they felt, etc., and then if either feels they can’t move past this then they should break up. Although if you’re in a relationship that has gotten to the point of engagement and you’re not interested in fighting for it then maybe breaking up is the best course of action because that relationship has no hope of survival.
