No, you are not in the wrong or overreacting. I'm sure to her it was nothing because he was gay but that doesn't excuse it. His balls were still in her face. This sounds like it was a clear boundary you expressed up front that she crossed. It shouldn't have happened. What definitely does need to be addressed is how dismissive she is being about this situation. She doesn't seem to understand why you are so upset. Good for you for reversing the situation to give her some food for thought. Maybe she will think twice next time.
hello, so it seems this type of relationship with this friend isn’t healthy for you. and if it doesn’t enrich your soul or life, it’s best to cut ties. i don’t think you should ghost her, maybe try and explain in one message that her issues can sometimes be a little too much to manage and that there’s no discussing this matter, you feel this connection is unhealthy for you at this time and that you wish her farewell and hope the best for her and her life. i would then block so she doesn’t have the opportunity to spiel anger or insults towards you. in regards to making friends, i’m not sure how old you are, or if you have a career, but i would say most friendships can be made through jobs, city events, college organizations, bars, etc.
Do not bring this cat into your home. She isn’t taking this seriously and doesn’t understand your dog. She won’t be careful about keeping them separated and things will not end well. You will constantly be living with the stress of wondering when your dog is going to get to her cat. Trust your instincts here.
