If that's the only reason then I completely agree with you. I was just saying that it is possible she could have re-evaluated some things. Also people are very quick on here to just say “break up” or “cut things off” which isn't always the solution. Obviously OP knows the full context so if he feels like its just a ploy to lure him back then he should not proceed.
Try to get her to admit that she would try ruin your life with a false accusation, get her to admit to it in writing. Then break up with her, because this is not the type of woman anyone should be with
