Personally i think you should cut off contact. It sounds to me like she wants you back because it didn't work with the other dude, she has made you her backup plan. She found out the other dude isn't as interesting if she doesn't need to sneak around to be with him. Personally I'm a big proponent of keeping an ex a ex and really cutting them off, especially if it's because of another person.
