2. Because this place is full of transphobes. And trans people will be able to discuss the deceit (and they absolutely will) without being transphobic about it.

   I don't think that's a good idea either. My partner is trans and we have quite a few of trans friends. I've been told on many occasions that the loud live trans community can be rather insecure and are very quick to call other people transphobes. Even reading the comments here, I see a lot of people defending the deceit and calling people transphobes for saying that the gf should have disclosed that info before getting intimate.

   I think this post is better suited for a more generic subreddit. I think it's important to listen to and understand different view points.
