Someone out there will love you exactly how you are, they are waiting for you while you waste your time with someone who doesn't deserve you.
So he has no issue compromising you and your children…but not her? This should be a requirement to reconciliation.
Have you ever had a conversation about why she prefers socializing like that? Not in a “you know this is weird” way but a “why do you prefer it this way”?
Sorry for not clarifying but we both go to college in our home towns so we’re both still at home really close to each other. It’s really hot to let this go, I don’t really have anyone else besides old high school friends that are out of town for school.
That the cats are doing just sounds like a little tiffs, not a big deal. I have two cats and when my fiancé moved in her brought his cat. We took all the precautions introducing them and there were still some nasty fights. It’s been 3+ years and they still don’t like each other. They tolerate each other but they still get into fights and sometimes draw blood. Most of the time they coexist peacefully and just stay out of each others way. I’ve even seen them “play”, where there’s hissing and chasing but they seems to kind of enjoy it lol. Despite the bullying and occasional fighting we would never ask the other to get rid of their cats. It’s unacceptable that your boyfriend wants to throw your cat out over a little hissing and swatting. What you describe sounds much less dramatic than what can go on in our house. Cats are cats, hissing and swatting is how they communicate sometimes. I’d say the cats are not the problem, the boyfriend is and he may need to be removed.
This will damage your son, get him out of this situation. Your husband has zero respect for either of you and clearly has no interest in fixing his issues. Stop putting yourself and your son through this.
He asked a few times, but I was over at her house, then decides to say shes gonna go over the second I leave out of town, I agree I think I am overblowing this and being insecure, but few weeks ago, asked if she wanted to go out with me, she said she was busy at work, then posted a snap at a frat party.
