Why should we have to put our own comfort aside for someone else? Why do men have to go down on us? It’s not bringing them physical pleasure, and if we aren’t able to relax, it isn’t bringing us any either.
He wants to do it because he thinks it should being her pleasure, and he’s butthurt that his masculinity is taking a hit. It has nothing to do with bringing her pleasure, or he’d respect that she doesn’t want it right now.

okay, so it sounds like the complaints were about your work, not simply that they didnt like you, though it is possible that you simply didnt mesh with their work culture, which is fine. It just seems like “they didnt like me” is a cop-out and wont serve to help you moving forwards.
But that may be irrelevant to your relationship issue
