Thank you for your perspective. Honestly I told him details before and during my evening for 2 reasons. 1. As a courtesy and to let him know that I was safe. 2. Just in case actually came to visit me, he'd know where to find me. The point you made about why couldn't he just say I'm not sleepy, is the same one I made. I told him that it could've been a 3-5 minute conversation, instead of a 2 day argument. Must of the argument consisted of things that I didn't say, statements I didn't make and conversations that we didn't have. When he gets upset, he makes up an entire scenario in his mind and then gets upset because he starts to believe it. He can be his own worst enemy and I've expressed this. I've also expressed that his reaction and ridiculously false statements causes a divide. I even told him that I think he's upset because he assumed the worst from my text, saw how ridiculous it was not to visit his girlfriend because she didn't “ask” if he was tired and that I still enjoyed myself without him.
