To be fair….that does sound like an exhausting gift if you are not a “words of affirmation” type person.
Buuut…..that is a very easy moment where someone who is 1. Socially adjusted, and 2. Cares about you – could have easily sat through it and complete the task and at the very least pretend to be enthusiastic.
It is clear that gift took thought and time, his dismissal is extremely selfish given the circumstance.
So he is in the wrong. Tell him you feel hurt.
You seem pretty genuine in this response, so I'll go out on a limb and assume you are genuine here –
First, the downvotes tend to be peope disagreeing with you (oftentimes, because a huge age gap is frowned upon as very few age gap relationships are healthy and happy), so please be aware of that, it's a reflection of your situation, not necessarily you.
Second, take note that you've recognized you are breaking rules by being with this man. You both know this isn't okay – he is in a clear position of power, which sets the tone for an unhealthy relationship.
Finally, please take the warnings seriously. He lied about his past already, then completely dismissed his lie as if it was nothing. Good people don't lie about their past, and good people don't try to dismiss their own bad behavior when called out. That's a huge problem! This man is twice your age, is that really an excuse to “forget” he was already married? A huge life event? Really? You deserve better than that. Respect yourself first, and don't accept this BS for any reason. It's unacceptable.

That there is a man who will leave a room if he’s not the biggest dick in it. He wants to feel at the top of the world, even if it’s his tiny hill of a world. He doesn’t care as long as he feels like he’s important. But lacks the self awareness or drive to actually be important.

He then begins to start yelling at her at the venue in front of everyone and pushes her down causing her to break the camera that belongs to the owner of the venue

This is an unstable situation that you should walk away from. Either she's playing games, he's crazy or both. But the bottom line remains the same: she has told you that she may want to go back to him. That should have been an immediate nope from you.
