That’ll never happen, she’ll have these bills for 10 more years due to the situation with her sons dad. But again, she’s making me feel like a sugar daddy and not a partner. When we looked at wedding venues she made it abundantly clear that I was to pay for everything because “I could afford it” when I told her explicitly that I couldn’t.
The most obvious one is his son but the more subtle red flag that young women (or men) tend to forget is the age gap. What the hell is a 37 man doing with a 22 year old?? He’s been wanting to ask you out since your were 20? Usually what happens is women his age 35+ don’t want him as a partner because there’s gotta be something off about him, it could be his immaturity, financial situation, or he could be a man child who needs a woman to become his mom (basically take care of the house, etc.)
Wtf is that?
The only benefits I can think of are the tax breaks.. I hyphenated my last name when I got married but my SO and I discussed it long before we actually married and our children all have his last name. Considering she was literally holding your ability to see your child over your head over a name I have to wonder what her issue is and it's not being a “modern woman ” because the rest of us modern ladies aren't that cruel to our SO.
