I don't get this guy. He doesn't want an award because he doesn't want people thinking he's better than them. He wants to get the promotion but doesn't want to look like a management suckup or better than his co-workers.
But he's fine quitting his job because there is no growth potential so he can work retail. Like retail isn't a dead end job, nothing wrong working retail, but I worked retail. There is no up. I know you’re technically an adult, but I would stop things here. That much of an age difference just doesn’t sit right with me. I can’t think of any decent reasons a 32 year old would prefer a 19 year old unless they were desperate and trying to coerce them into a relationship.
