i'm going to give op the benefit of the doubt and say if her triggers had to do with past abuse or something actually traumatic like that then OP would be more understanding and willing to work with her. her “triggers” make no sense in this context. i would be frustrated as fuck too. also i'm willing to bet op's gf isn't interested in the activity. reading through comments he seems pretty passionate about it and she seems to not give a shit at all.
