I’m sure he appreciates you supporting him and I hope it works out for you both.
I have a fairly similar relationship with my brother. I'm also 34, he's 5 years older than me and for the most part acts like I don't exist.
I feel you, man. I wish I could have a real sibling relationship with my brother, but it just isn't going to happen. I 'quiet quit' my relationship with him years ago and now it doesn't sting so bad when he comes into town and ignores me or doesn't attempt any plan making with me.
Honestly, you sound pretty darn cool and I wish you were my brother.
Entirely depends on the haircut.
In all seriousness tell him that it's not flattering on him, then figure out if it's worth fighting over.
As others have mentioned though if you're straight up losing attraction over his haircut then you may not have been all that attracted to him to begin with – I honestly think my wife could make even something as bad as a mullet look good (though her judgment is sound enough that I never have to find out if that's true or not)
There is no magic cure. You just need to realise it’s over and start to try to move on. Get out with your friends and live life. You’ll never be able to prove to him you haven’t cheated, if he’s got it in his head, then that’s that. Did he know you were planning to stay over?
I'm not saying you have to continue the relationship, I'm saying don't make it into some moral issue or issue of self respect.
I respect myself by allowing myself to indulge in life's pleasures, some respect themselves by abstaining from pleasures I guess, neither is better, just personal preference.
