I’m no decorating or sound engineering expert, but a rug under the bed post can stop loud scraping on the wooden floors, and a soft piece of foam between the headboard and the wall can greatly reduce the sound of a wooden headboard banging repeatedly into the wall!
My bedroom was next to my parents room when I was growing up, and I NEVER heard a thing! Not even when they made my younger brother, lol ?
