Even just volunteering for a place that you think has a good mission. My go to strategy is to stalk Facebook lol. I usually just type my state and my interest and look for a group that seems to match my interest.
It could even just start by joining live groups to discuss shows or movies you like! Get yourself involved in a community and naturally things start to form from there.
Taking classes is also great! Whether it’s at a local college or just a wine and painting class, it’s good to practice putting yourself out there. Oh, also gym/ exercise classes can be great, but you def gotta be very careful about hitting on people in those cases lol
