When I was 16 I dated a 22 year old college graduate. Did it work out! God no! 6 years is nothing when you’re 30 but it’s quite a different world when one is a teenager. It’s naked to see the issue when you are at a very impressionable age.

I'm sorry to hear she did this to you. That's pretty fucked up. If you go to a bar with someone, even in the very early stages of dating, you are there together. It is super disrespectful to arrive with someone then get with someone else. Someone did that to me at a club and I left with his shirt still in my belt loop. I wore it a lot; it's a nice shirt 🙂
In your defense, you were at least completely up front about your insecurities. Still, that's something you really need to work on, because it's unhealthy.

You’re not wrong. I’ve wanted to move with my mother or at least near her which is nearly two thousand miles away from where I am for years and he promised me he’d make enough money from his job to a point where I’d have my own house there and where I live currently.
