I’m a Mom! But I absolutely agree with what you said. I certainly didn’t call him a pussy. If he had hit her back I would’ve been very disappointed in him. I knew in that Instance that relationship had to end. He tried to go back to her! I made it impossible and chased him all over town to do it. Sadly my son is still with women who abuse him, though I don’t believe physically, though I can only hope. He’s a full grown man now and according to his Dad I must let him make his own decisions and get himself out of this… it’s DIFFICULT not to interfere but all I can do is listen and hope for the best. I can’t even text him private messages though as she has complete access to his phone, she insists on this or will take the children and leave. She tracks his location, she doesn’t even lie and say it’s for safety. I honestly believe she is beating him down worse than the girl who physically beat him up when they were in high school. I tend to blame myself, ok I do but I didn’t even believe in spanking,I was very careful to never use personal insults or belittling in matters of discipline but somewhere I went wrong. I did ask him why he went back to the girl in high school, why he kept trying when I still had a say in his life… he said, it was for the sex Mom. I damn near cried. I’ve heard this, toxic relationships and good sec can go hand in hand but I don’t accept is as solid reasoning for continuing to be abused and controlled by anyone. No sex is THAT good. I’ve watched some of these toxic masculinity videos, they can be nauseating. Is there such a thing as toxic femininity?
He isn't. The last time he broke up because i had suggested therapy and his therapist had said that you're unfit to be in a relationship and you'll cause more harm than happiness to your partner.
