The only thing I could suggest doing differently is that if a future date/gf/whatever gets in some other guy’s car, don’t stop her. Let her go, and break up by text. She isn’t worth getting slapped, let alone you getting your ass kicked by onlookers who don’t know the full story. As soon as she’s even trying to get in his car, she’s somebody else’s problem.
Its entirely possible. However that said my family have all noted from early days my partner is moody/highly strung etc.
I honestly think its a flaw in each of us and one that clashes pretty badly.
I can only change my behaviour and intend to work on it, its challenging. Often my defensive reaction has surfaced before Ive even had time to think.
Its not until the moment has passed I can think more rationally about it.
