You have been together 9 months and living together for 9 months? That doesn’t make sense.
Anyway, I do understand where you are coming from. When my girlfriend and I were living in an apartment together we split the rent and bills 50/50 which seemed totally fair. I bought a house. I don’t feel right making her pay half of my mortgage because I get all of the equity and if we break up she gets nothing. We agreed that she pays me some rent, but definitely less than half of the mortgage. In general I wouldn’t move with someone that expected me to pay half of their mortgage nor would expect someone to pay half of mine. Of course there are other factors involved such as relative incomes, the amount of the mortgage ect.
