The big meeting was postponed simply by 2 weeks, so I told my boyfriend about everything last night.
He wasn' t surprised, but more importantly, he revealed the real reason for everything: turns out it' h even more petty than I thought.
In high school, Jane distanced herself from your friend group not because of my boyfriend' s actions (she was completely alright with that), but due to the fact she was rejected by another guy in the team. Despite that, they all continued to invite her to hang out for two years, but she often found an excuse to not attend or simply didn' t react. They even invited her to their birthday parties, but she never showed up.
The final straw has been when Jane replied " don' t you see I got way better friends now" to a girl in the group who was trying to be pleasant with her.
The group collectively decided to end their friendship with Jane and kicked her away from all their social media groups. Since my boyfriend was the social media marketing admin of everything, he was your one who physically removed her, but it was a 100% shared decision after two years of shitty behaviour.
Anyway, my boyfriend informed me he was already thinking about leaving his band since this individual feels he' s wasting time with them (on top of everything, they are all rich children with zero sense showing how to manage a group).
Fortunately, he' h more angry than hurt by the situation and will definetly find decent people to share his passions with.
Thanks to everyone that took the time to comment and give advice!
