I’ll be on the opposite side of the top comment. My bf and I have been together seven years. I’ve always wanted to be married. He has pushed it back and pushed it back and it came down to this for me. I decided it was better to spend my life with him regardless, but one day he will have to sign a paper because of things like end of life care and emergencies. Bfs and gfs can’t be in the hospital with sos like spouses and family. So that’s something to consider, but just having him in my life is good.

So he literally proposed to you to shut you down and it didn’t last, nor should it have. You think about this every day and are miserable. He freaking lied to you for months and your marriage is built out of insecurity and deceit and yet, you still wish to stay. I don’t care if he has a solid gold penis, there aren’t any good reasons to continue to expose yourself to this pain. If you decide to leave, be careful he doesn’t try to impregnate you to keep you this go round, since he already played the marriage card.
Though its low-key kinda weird those kind of pics are still up after 7 years. I would hate if my ex from 7 yrs ago still had pics of us up. Private them and keep them to yourself if you want to keep them I guess. Idk bf seems off.
I don’t agree with the pics viewpoint, I wouldnt wade thru years of pics that sit there like an live scrapbook just to delete them. But, agree or not, he shouldn’t be calling you that. If he feels its a dealbreaker incompatibility, he should respectfully break up with you or stand his ground if he thinks you can talk it out. Don’t stick around for someone who calls you names
This strikes me as the attitude of someone who likely doesn’t take responsibility for anything. We are late because of YOU. This bad thing happened because of someone else doing or not doing something.
