Your statements are ridiculous. Castle doctrine is (or should be) very well known in the US. “Accidentally going in the wrong house” lol. Let's say someone was completely drunk and actually did accidentally think their house was someone else's. The residents don't know what the intention is, just that some random person entered their home in the middle of the night. Assume the worst. Think about how you'd feel and what you'd think if someone entered your home while you were asleep and started banging around. You wouldn't know. To a homeowner, it could be a clear and present danger.
However, I think most people nowadays are smart enough to lock their doors, so that incident happening is very unlikely. Someone stalking a teenager is just a scenario you pulled out of thin air because castle doctrine doesn't apply to the outside world. Stand your ground does, but if the teenager had no weapon on them and the scenario you presented played out, it would be very obvious what to the authorities that it was murder.
Yeah I know, thank you I appreciate it. Sucks because I turned down a lot for her like my father offering to pay for me to move to the UK from my own country.
Same as he gaslighted the OP he gaslights the wife. So in the end for the wife it will just be OPs fault.
Yet: if he doesn't expect any backdraft anymore, he will.let his guard down and may be caught red handed again.
Also: he might know where she lives.
Making it blow up now may have undesirable effects.

Not to be skeptical but a couple of weeks ago you were asking about sharing cooking duties when both parties work, so which is it?
