If he was your friend he would have pushed that down and waited to see how you and your gf relationship worked out. But since he didn’t he can’t be trusted any longer. Confront him do not get physical. If he confesses that he did it and why accept his confession but cut ties. If he tries to deny it then just leave. If he says there is more to it than just what your gf says then tell him show proof on the spot. If he does and gf is being shady too then you have 2 people to get rid of. If he doesn’t present evidence just leave.
I have three children. Heart burn, pain and discomfort and morning sickness lasting all day all night for nearly the full 9 months each. 2nd baby was an extremely rough child birth that resulted in me hemorrhaging and in a critical care unit. And I do not find pregnancy to be a free pass to emotionally abuse the ever living shit out of your partner. Abuse is never okay for any reason. Moody and snappy, or crabby I can see, but this went way beyond that. This was belittling, berating, etc. No one has a right to abuse another person ever; whether you are a man or woman. If this woman can’t not handle her pregnancy without being volatile, unpredictable and an abusive person who treats her partner like a piece of shit for 9 months straight, she has no business getting pregnant again.
Yah, that’s a red flag convention. Once again with the controlling dude with “my girlfriend cheated on me so I don’t trust you” it’s a tale as old as time.
He went young because he knows how to manipulate you and get you marching the way he wants. He’s a nightmare and he’s just getting his claws in, just wait a little while and it will get so much worse.
You’re still strong enough to get out, this isn’t a communication issue, it’s a dominance and control issue, he won’t be happy until you are spending 24/7 trying to please him.
This happens all the time! It’s usually the other way around though. Or let’s say after you have children and neither of you are in your prime any longer. Looks will fade.

Best of luck, hope you can get away.

You know how you cut off your father? Do it again!
