Oh, that's not too bad. To be honest some people just don't really feel like they have much new to say day to day. I'd try to keep the connection up as much as possible but there is a reason long distance sucks and this kind of thing is part of it. The longterm solution is almost always “stop being long distance” and that should be happening soon enough for you.
