I have absolutely no idea what the question is here
I did therapy a few years ago. For awhile after it I thought I was happy but I'm back to being depressed. I don't need to vent to someone because it won't change my situation. All I want to do is figure out how not to upset my boyfriend, who deserves nothing of this.

This is a cry for help. Call the police and ask to do a wellness check or contact his family and alert them to what he is saying and ask them to go and check on him. Get off of Reddit and go check yourself.
He is being honest. You made the decision that is best for you at this time. Don't feel guilty about making that decision. He isn't trying to guilt you – he was just talking with his therapist.
He sounds like he is being supportive of you and your needs.
I see that now but for 3 years I guess I didn’t pick up on the flags. It’s hot to blow up our lives on a whim so I need time to process… as for the age gap thing I guess I didn’t think much of it, my own parents have 11 years between them.
