Any good marriage or couples therapist KNOWS they cannot be the primary therapist for one person in the couple and ALSO the marriage therapist. Big nope. One thing to invite you to one of his sessions but no decent therapist would suggest she should be your marriage counselor after behind your husband’s sole therapist for so long. If you’re having sex with no form of birth control then unless one or both of you in 100% no-go infertile it’s going to end in pregnancy. It’s not an if, it’s a when. “We’ll deal with it after the fact” is not a viable option. What does that even mean? Is he talking about figuring out a pregnancy when it happens? You both becoming parents when neither of you wants that? Has he got a plan to jump ship of that happens? Does he intend for you to get an abortion or go through pregnancy for adoption? Before assuming it is pregnancy, unless you have other pregnancy symptoms, it is quite possible it is stress or another factor. Go get a test and take it. Its likely negative. Regardless I'd tell him that he needs to go get his swimmers tested unless he wants to use condoms.
