Yes I think hes projecting. I don't think it's that he secretly likes me or something like that. I actually don't think he likes me in the slightest. He's just angry. I don't think his family is religious but they do seem to be very traditional and Pete is a stereotypical “lad” so I don't think liking boys is something he would want to accept about himself.
