I understand. You have to tell your self that you are an adult that needs to start your adult life. Sometimes life is overwhelming when we don’t know a way out. Making a plan will help ease that anxiety.
At the end of the day, your mom is also overwhelmed BUT that is not your problem. You don’t have to give up your life to raise your sister’s kids. You deserve your own home, relationship and kids (if that’s what you want). YOU DON’T OWE YOUR LIFE TO OTHERS.
YOU DO OWE YOURSELF TO BE HEALTHY, HAPPY AND MENTALLY WELL.
Get a journal (where it cannot be found) and start hitting down what you’ll need to live on your own. Assess costs of everything. Don’t let it OVERWHELM you let it FUEL YOU toward getting out.
