This is a less than talked about reason why most men aren't big fans of the whole “best guy friend” BS. You aired out to another dude that your current boyfriend isn't sexually satisfying to you. It isn't about insecurities, its about boundaries and what details need to stay within the confines of your relationship.
Think to yourself how you might feel if the he vented to a female “friend” about your sexual incompetency? Nobody wants to be in that position.
You should have had a serious sit down with BF and laid it out there. Could be performance anxiety, could be he doesn't know how to satisfy you and doesn't want to come up short, could be a multitude of reasons. Find out the reason and go from there, maybe breakup if that is the case.
Bottom line is…there are ways to go about fixing bedroom things and telling another dude about your boyfriends sexual shortcomings is not one of them. Hopefully the fallout isn't too bad. I think its more about the “crossing of boundaries” than the “breaking of trust.”

Opposites attract, right? Lol. I mean we both have different interests, definitely.
