I don’t understand the younger generations need to seek validation by posting revealing or super personal shit in the public square, but that’s just me.
That aside, it sounds like you need to have a sit down and calmly explain why it hurt or confused you and how it made you feel, and then ask her to elaborate on the “toxic” thing. That’d be a red flag for me.
Thanks for validating my feelings. I’m not sure I even would want to be added at this point but it’s good to know I think I do have a valid reason to feel hurt. I’ll be working to find a way to try to get over it and not hold it against anyone I suppose.
